Captain's and Lido
Upper Deck |
The Captain's and Lido
Deck accommodates not only the Bridge, but also eight spacious cabins, the
bar and the sun deck with comfortable deck chairs. The lido deck is the
nicest place to enjoy the night air and the sun as it sinks over the
horizon. |
Promenade
Middle Deck |
The restaurant,
created out of the original saloon is the heart of the Promenade Deck. In
what is more like a club atmosphere the Captain receives his guests every
evening. Also on this deck are 16 luxurious cabins with wood paneled walls
and brass trimmings. During the refurbishment in 1979, and the renovation in
1993, cabin space was increased and more luxurious bathrooms were added. |
Lower
Main Deck |
The Main Deck with the
owner's cabins still reflects Marjorie Post's personal tastes in art, design
and culture. Now, more than half a Century later, one can still sense the
first owner's determination to create a home fit for Royalty in the 1st and
2nd owner's cabins. Although these cabins have been renovated, great care
was taken to maintain their earlier ambiance. |
