Overlooking the splendid Todos os Santos Bay, Salvador is a photographer's
paradise. Colorful Baianas wear Afriquen-style headdresses and bright skirts,
lithe youths dance the capoeira in the streets, and colonial palaces and
churches line ancient cobbled squares. Locals claim they invented the samba
and lambada, and it could just be true: the city is alive with music and
dance, day and night. |
